Sonata with Accompaniment Workshop (violin, flute, cello), Erard 1806 square piano, October 29 to November 1

The sonata for keyboard with violin (or flute) accompaniment
Around the square piano Erard 1806 and a piano Clementi 1800, the workshop will highlight works of the first French romanticism such as Adam, Steibelt, Dussek or Jadin and Devienne. Emphasis will be placed on the relationship between the two instruments in turn as accompanists, the techniques of writing and improvising an accompaniment, the transposition of the vocal model and the orchestral palette to the chamber music pair.

Maximum number of duos or solos: 10, i.e. 3 one-hour classes over 3 days
Bachelor level and + pianoforte, or modern pianists initiated at the Royaumont Foundation or at La Nouvelle Athènes...

then transfer Cycle Atelier Erard 1806 and XVIIIth keyboards (4 days):

Price: 180€ with 4 lunches, 150€ with 4 lunches for members of La Nouvelle Athènes

Pedagogical and practical organization
Possible rehearsals at ARCAL on the square piano Erard 1806 from 20/09 to 3/10 (9h30 - 17h),
then from October 20th to 25th morning and on October 29th morning just before the workshop.
The workshop begins on October 29 at 2pm and ends after the participants' concert on November 1 at 8pm.
A musicological conference opens each day while an exchange on the techniques of interpretation concludes the day.
