La Collection de pianos de La Nouvelle Athènes
Lors de la fondation de l’association La Nouvelle Athènes, pianistes, claviéristes, restaurateurs et mélomanes se sont réunis pour définir les bases d’une collection idéale accessible aux claviéristes désireux de pratiquer sur des pianos d’époque romantiques.
Nous avons en tête de proposer des pianos de 1780 à 1850, de factures françaises, viennoises et anglaises.
Nous avons débuté la collection avec l’achat et la restauration du piano français carré Erard 1806 et l’acquisition du piano viennois Streicher 1847, tous deux restaurés par les meilleurs maîtres d’art Christopher Clarke and Edwin Beunk.
